Bushehr is a peninsula in a county of the same name in southwestern Iran. It is surrounded on its north, west, and south by the Persian Gulf.

The land of palm trees and sunshine has a hot and dry climate.

Bushehr’s Day is marked annually on the 18th day of the Persian calendar month of Esfand. This year it fell on Monday.
